Chicago!

We went to chicago for the weekend with our good friends Rich and Erica. We had such a wonderful time. We left early saturday morning and went to Shedd's Aquarium and then hit Giordano's famous pizza place for lunch. Then we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo to see some awesome animals. Here is a picture of one of my favorites -that would be the Giraffe not Troy :).
We stayed in Chicago for the night and got up Sunday morning and went to Harvest Bible Chapel home of Pastor James MacDonald. If you have never heard him you know why we always LOVE to go. The message was on trials and it was such a great reminder of how God is so much bigger than all of us and our situations. We then hit Ikea for a few hours before we grabbed supper and headed home. It was so nice to just get away for a day or two with great friends.

Chicago is a great get-away town - I love it there. It sounds like you guys had a blast. Troy's knee must be healing well? :-)
