Our Weekend

We went to some friends on Friday pm for pizza and a movie…..celebrating troy’s bday….it sure was fun to hang out and laugh a lot.
Saturday we went to the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis with my girlfriend Christine her hubby and their triplets. They are two now and she and I are both expecting so i was EXHAUSTED when I got home….then we ran errands and went to Jonathan and Heather Smith's for supper.
Then yesterday we went to church – my girlfriend had a baby so we went up to the hospital to see her and the baby – took a meal to a family that had a baby last Saturday and then went home and cleaned house in preparation for 7 of troy’s family members that came over for supper….
I think I fell asleep on the couch around 10pm all cuddled up with my hubby....life doesn't get much better than that. :)...however i could stand a lazy day of nothing. We have the superbowl party at our house next weekend and then we are hosting 3 guests for the Feb. conferance for a week....so it won't settle down any time soon.

A picture

ok -

i kept trying to take a picture and kept forgetting - so this was on friday pm late - i had already started getting ready for bed - i will try and get a better one but hopefully this will suffice for now :)

this is me at 20.5 weeks....

It's a.........................

Well, we went to our ultrasound yesterday morning and the technician said all looked perfect....she did all her measurements and all that fun stuff. I kept thinking hurry and show us what we are having but I tried to be patient. :) She said his femur was reading about 8 days ahead of my due date so who knows. With that said, now as soon as June 1st hits I will be thinking anyday now would be just fine. I had specifically prayed that morning that the baby would cooperate fully, my fear was we would get in there and the baby would be crossing his or her legs and we would never know. For those who know my husband, we wouldn't have left until we knew. Well......there is no modesty when it comes to our child.....the tech. moved around and found the angle she was looking for and there was our baby....spread eagle...showing the entire world all of HIS glory. We are having a boy and are very excited. Thanks for guessing.....we are excited about the blessing of raising a little boy. :)

What do you think we are having?

Well............thursday is the big day that we find out what we are having.
That is if the baby cooperates of course.
I am curious as to what family and friends think we will have, so jot down your thoughts and guesses and then we will make sure to post the results on thursday or friday.
I also will try and get a picture taken.....sorry I just keep forgetting.
I figure a picture now will be better than in a few months when I am as big as a house :(.

Memories

So.....I got to work this am and this pictures was sent to me by Amy. Laura was pouting the other day at our house that I had pictures of everyone else in my wedding album except for her. So I wanted to create a special post for these girls. :) I LOVED teaching and am so thankful for the time that God allowed me to influence and be influenced by so many.

These girls hold a special place in my heart, many were in small bible studies with me, classes, and even a special group call the Lydia group. Amy and I were even able to travel to England and Ireland together for a couple weeks after she graduated. So many great memories with each one of them.

So..... Abri, Amy, Laura, Rachel and Anna - I love you all very much and am thankful for each one of you.

2008

Can you believe it is 2008?
We had a wonderful Christmas, New Year's and we were able to spend a few days this past weekend with my family for Christmas.
I am 18 weeks now and feeling really good. This is the fun stage of pregnancy so I hear :)
We will find out what we are having and will make sure to share it with you all.
You can guess if you want :). Troy thinks maybe a boy - i don't know - maybe it will be a girl.
As long as the baby cooperates we will find out on January 24th - Troy's bday - I thought it would be the perfect present for him.
I will try and write again soon.
