God's Wonderful Creation

I am always amazed at what a wonderful creation babies are for us. We were able to babysit the Bolton babies on saturday so Shane and Christine could have some adult time. I fed Abby and I think it wore her out. Life is hard work when you are only 4 months old. :o)

It was a blessing for us and as you can see - I am not sure who had a better nap. Keep praying for the Bolton's and their babies.

Such a nice week.....

This week was busy, tiring but so nice. My little sister Holly came on sunday pm because it was her spring break this week. So we got settled in sunday pm - and had to show her how extreme home makeover works. That show makes you cry so much. But it is an amazing show - seeing how so many people are helped. Holly was able to sleep in monday morning (or should I say afternoon :o) That night we went to feed the Bolton Babies - one of our favorite things to do and then we got Holly some movies to watch while we were at work or together. We came home and watched Walk the Line - the life story of Johnny Cash. It was a good movie and it revealed to me once again how idols of your heart can and will destroy you. Tuesday night we went to Steinmart because they are closing and we got some great deals, then went for supper and then AMERICAN IDOL night which was very good. I was hoping Bucky would go home but Kevin sad to say it was inevitable you were going home as well. Wednesday pm we went to church - we are taking an overview of the Bible class. Troy and I hit the sack early because we were so tired. Wednesday's are long days - Troy has Point Man at church at 6am and then I met with Betsy for Bible Study at 6:30am so....by the time 10pm comes around we are fading fast. Sorry - we are old people Holly! Then thursday pm she headed back to school. Sad to see her leave but so glad she could come. So Troy and I settled in to watch one of the left over movies still unwatched. Million Dollar Baby - ya my recommendation is ....good movie - kinda. Good if you want to BAWL your eyes out. I just laid there sobbing. It was so sad - after it was over Troy said, "Who picked that move - that was Definately not a feel good movie." - So now it is friday and we are glad. Looking forward to spending some time together and relaxing over the weekend.

AND THE ANSWER IS.......

Well - after giving and offer waiting and then giving another offer and waiting some more. We finally found out yesterday (2 days after they were supposed to let us know.) That we did not get the house. We are ok! This is probably the 4th time we have had a NO one way or another about a house. So...what next?!?!? I think we are going to just sit tight, pray about it some more and wait for awhile. Knowing that God's timing and ways are perfect.
Thanks for all your thoughts and comments. Now we have time to focus on other things. We are super excited because we are going to visit Allen and Monica Kish (Lemay) and their two darling girls. She is expecting their third - pray for them as she often at this point in her pregnancy ends up on bed rest for numerous reasons.

Still Waiting

Just wanted to let you know we are still waiting to hear about the house. We were supposed to find out last pm by 7:00. So after work Troy and I went for a run - fed the ADORABLE triplets and then when we got home we anxiously checked the voicemail. Nothing yet!!! So hopefully we will hear this morning. Good thing God is in control of all things. Also, after waking up to FREEZING temperatures - we will still be waiting for Spring. That is ok though! At least we haven't had tornadoes this year (yet). Enjoy your tuesday everyone- and I will keep you updated as to our housing situation.

The Waiting Game

Have you ever noticed that most things that are worth anything in life you are forced to wait.
I have noticed that God is forcing me to be more patient. Troy and I have entered into the looking for a house to buy adventure. We at this time don't need a new place to stay but want to buy a house - fix it up and either sell it (hoping to make a profit) and if we can't sell it we will then move into it. It is a fun thing and we are looking forward to getting into a big project but.....you see - as of late - if you want your house to sell - either have us plan on looking at it or have us make an offer on it. Because, then it will FOR SURE sell within 24 hours. We aren't sure if we are good luck or bad. :)
But - we put an offer on a house on thursday and will hopefully find out today if we got it. It is an older home - built probably in 1920 - 1930 and I think will be darling once it is fixed up. I will keep you updated on our waiting game :)

Little Angels

These little angels are some of our favorite things. Our dear friends Shane and Christine have so graciously allowed us to be apart of their lives, changing and feeding team. There isn't much more peaceful and incredible that holding one of these precious gifts from God.
My favorite part is that you really never have to share or give a baby up. There is always one that needs some loving. :o)
Keep praying for them as they face daily challenges with growth - feeding - being tired and even something as small as paying for it all. EEK!! Good thing God is in control of everything.
We are looking forward to seeing them grow and change and prayerfully come to Christ and be incredible servants for His Kingdom.
The top one is Elizabeth (Ella) - then Abigail (Abby) and then Joshua (Josh).
