Calling on my fun and creative friends!
Ok - this is the email my hubbie sent out to our entire Young Couples sunday school class.
Colts fan? Bears fan? Looking forward to the commercials more than the game? You’re all welcome to join us for a Super Bowl. We’re planning on some food, half-time games, and even a few prizes. BUT…it would help us a great deal in planning to know if you’re planning on being there. Shoot us a quick e-mail if you’re planning on being there and we’ll get you all the details.
Hope you’re all having a great week.
And by the way if you are reading this and want to come you are invited. What we need help with is ideas for 1/2 time games and prizes. So give us your great ideas :) and GO COLTS !!!

Yahoooo....go Colts! We are Packers fans, Rams fans and the Colts are our 3rd favorite team. Peyton is our second favorite QB besides of course my beloved Brett Favre.
Hmmm....games....I will email my friend Tammy. She is party queen. You could do something like paper football field goal competition (you know those paper triangles)
Wish we could come. I also wish we had a place where we could throw a party. Our house is TOO small :(
We can't come - but know that we would rather be there watching the game with fellow Colts (and Bears) fans than be all alone down here watching it. Have a great time!!! GO COLTS!!!! kristi edwards
I just want to know if he sent that awesome pic of you two with the email also! :)
Go BEARS! Sorry, this grew-up-in-Indiana girl won't change her loyalties even for this one game. Sounds like a fun night ahead! Did I already say this?------Go, Bears!!!!!
i sure wish we could come!
Wish we could come too!
Here are my game ideas:
1) Whos' the best Quarterback: Rig up something for guests to throw a football through (i.e. an old tire, an old towel with a hole cut in the middle, a hula hoop) and hang it in an open area (I assume you have a big space in your living room?). Make a line for players to stand behind and see who can make the most throws through the hoop/hole out of 5.
2) Trivial pursuit, football style: Use trivial pursuit cards (if you really have time you could even make up a Bible category with questions and substitute it for the entertainment category) and the color die but not the board. Make a football field on poster board or a whiteboard/chalkboard. Divide the guests into two teams and start each team on the opposite side's 10 yrd. line. Roll for a category, if they get the question right, they get to move 10 yrds. (first down). You'd have to make up more detailed rules for how it would work but you get the idea.
Let us know how the party goes!
OH, that sounds like so much fun!! Wish we didn't live so far away!!! :( Have a blast! :)
Wish we could come:)! Great picture of you guys! Made me smile. So sorry you had to waste a dream on our family the other night...what a riot!! Email me and tell me all about it, unless you can't:)!
Love you too!!
Alyssa
How did the games go and what did you go with? We have singles camp coming up and we are always on the prowl for good games to play with larger groups.
